Photo Contest 3 Winners

We've Chosen Our Winners!

We received so many incredible photo submissions, it was tough to pick the winners! Amazing shots of tree care, facility maintenance, glass cleaning, and more from all over the USA, featuring several different models of CMC tracked aerial lifts. After long and careful consideration, we narrowed it down to the three winners:

1st Place: Tim's Tree Care

Tim Bennett of Tim’s Tree Care in King of Prussia, PA, sent in some incredible shots of their CMC 83HD+ Arbor Pro. We chose this as the top submission for several reasons. Congratulations, Tim!

1) Impressive view: the operator’s point-of-view from the platform station is always a great perspective of a working job site.
2) High quality image:
the photo was sent with high resolution, clarity, the lift was in focus, nothing was over/under exposed, and the image wasn’t manipulated or edited prior to being sent.
3) Tells a story: it’s clear this was residential tree work. The image shows that the lift was able to drive into the home owner’s backyard and setup next to their pool in tight quarters, and safely perform tree work.

2nd Place: All American Tree Service

David Litz of All American Tree Service in South Lyon, MI, submitted some great photos of their CMC 83HD+ Arbor Pro working. Our favorite among their submissions was this one of the lift set up in a backyard on two different levels.

1) Impressive job site: One of the most important values of a CMC tracked aerial lift is that it gets you into areas that have been previously impossible or inaccessible. This image shows the lift using its full potential, being setup on two different ground levels, and also showcases the extreme vertical up & over reach.
2) High quality image: the photo was sent with high resolution, clarity, the lift was in focus, nothing was over/under exposed, and the image wasn’t manipulated or edited prior to being sent.
3) Proper PPE & safe practices: basket operator is wearing all proper PPE (helmet & harness), and the lift is properly & safely setup on the terrain.

3rd Place: Slaymaker Group

Phil Slaymaker of Slaymaker Group in Washington Boro, PA, submitted this photo that stood out for capturing his CMC 60HD+ going through a narrow gate, as well as up & over some stairs with the help of some heavy duty aluminum ramps.

1) Impressive job site & tells a story: the access to this job site is extremely restrictive, but with the CMC 60HD+ they were able to access this job site where many other conventional lifts could never perform. In addition, the setup area where the outriggers are deployed is extremely compact, showing that having a narrow footprint is essential to difficult access job sites.
2) High quality image: the photo was sent with high resolution, clarity, the lift was in focus, nothing was over/under exposed, and the image wasn’t manipulated or edited prior to being sent.

Thank you to all who participated!

This was a fantastic photo contest. We have received many pictures, and they were even better than the last contest. We’re excited for the next one!

Here are a few things to consider for the next contest:

  1. Is my image high quality? (high resolution, not edited, no dark shadows, focused. If you zoom in, is it clear?)
  2. Are the personnel in the photo wearing proper safety gear?
  3. Ask us if you have questions! (media@allaccessequipment.com)

  • Take multiple pictures of the lift entering a difficult site and others showing the lift working.
  • Try to avoid over/under exposing the photos.
  • Take pictures when there is sufficient daylight.
  • Use the highest quality camera you can for the best results.
  • Try to avoid any unnecessary editing and avoid photo filters.
  • Feel free to use a drone or any camera alternative if you have one.
  • Be creative, have fun, and be safe!
  • Anybody working AND in the picture MUST be wearing PPE. Picture will be immediately disqualified if PPE is not worn.

To our valued customers,

We want to assure our customers that we are taking precautions to reduce exposure and risk caused by COVID-19. Our staff is following the CDC guidelines for hygiene and personal space. Our team is paying close attention to news updates and are adapting as necessary to ensure that we keep our team working for our customers.

Our teams are working hard to ensure uninterrupted quality service for you. While there may be some things we can’t do, we are here to assist in any way that will not put anyone in danger.

Our sales team continues to be available to take calls and provide an in-person demonstration of our equipment. If you would prefer a video demonstration, we have many videos available for you to view on our YouTube site. Please reach out to our sales team at 978-712-4950 option 1 or by email at sales@allaccessequipment.com. We also believe we have the largest inventory of lifts in-stock with the fastest availability in North America. Our growing network of stocking dealers is available with an inventory of new lifts and is available for service and parts support.

Our parts team continues to take your calls, receive parts from our vendors, and ship them to our customers. We pride ourselves on having a large in-stock ready to ship inventory of parts, with availability to ship parts the same day. Please call our friendly parts team for parts you may need for regular maintenance. We have filters of all kinds in stock and UPS continues to pick up and deliver. The downtime caused by this crisis can make a great time to catch up on taking care of your equipment.

Our service team is hard at work processing new equipment and servicing customer machines to our highest standard. To keep our technicians from having to travel, we are currently prioritizing in-house work over non-emergency road work. Our team can help you understand our work queue and travel availability. However, at the moment, we are being cautious with discretionary travel for safety reasons. We are happy to help point you to a local resource if one is available for your needs. We are currently accepting work in our workshop for regular maintenance, inspections, etc.

Our top-notch, in-person delivery and familiarization service continues to function as normal. We are working on alternative delivery & familiarization options for some customers. If this is a concern for you, please contact our delivery team at 978-712-4950 option 5. We now have several videos available for all of our customers, and if you’d like a refresher course on some functionality of your lift, contact us at and we’ll get you set up!

Our office staff is split between remote and in-office work based on need. All employees have been briefed on “stay-at-home” rules due to sickness or contact with someone known to have COVID-19.

Thank you for your loyalty and understanding as we do our best to ensure your safety and the safety of our team.

Top 10 Cold-Weather Working Tips

Top 10 Cold-Weather Working Tips

Working in cold weather presents it’s own unique set of challenges that might not normally occur in warmer weather. While our equipment & components are heavy duty and weather proof, following the tips below will lead to the best diesel engine and lift operation performance, maximize your up-time.

1 )  When working on sites with snow or ice on the ground, clear all snow and ice where outriggers will be set up. Outriggers MUST be set up on solid ground, free of snow and ice.

– Clear site where outrigger pads land with a shovel so area is totally clean prior to setting up lift.

– Stabilize & secure all outrigger pads with a larger ground pad or plywood in case of the ground freezing and/or thawing.

– When working on a slope, be sure the ground where each outriggers lands is clear and secure. This is mandatory and the responsibility of the operator.

2 )  Replace Kubota engine fuel filter every time you perform engine oil changes.

The fuel filter is the very first place fuel clogs happen. Without fuel flow, the engine will not work. Filters are inexpensive and can be quickly and easily replaced. Call (978) 712-4950 ext. 3 to order new fuel filters today!

(2019 83HD+ shown)

3 )  Replace hydraulic filters regularly. Clogged filters reduce hydraulic flow and slow down lift operation. This is especially important during cold weather.

(2019 83HD+ shown)

4 )  Spray light lube on ALL microswitches on a weekly basis, especially the switches activated by outrigger lock pins. Light lube will prevent any moisture from freezing on microswitches.

(2019 83HD+ shown)

5 )  Turn key switch on to glow plug position prior to cranking the engine. Light will light up, then turn off when glow plugs are hot.

Always utilize glow plugs to start Kubota engine during initial start up. Glow plugs are activated by turning ignition key to the first position. Hold key in this position until light turns off, then crank engine. In extremely cold weather, turn key off and hold key in GLOW PLUG position again. If Kubota diesel engine is already warm, glow plugs will not activate. This is normal.

(2019 72HD+ shown)

6 )  Always use a multi-grade quality engine oil such as 15W-40. For extremely cold temperatures, check Kubota engine owners manual for manufacturer’s instructions.

(2019 83HD+ shown)

7 )  Always add a small amount of fuel conditioner when air temperatures drop below 35°. Gas stations and fuel suppliers do not replace Summer fuel with Winterized fuel until their Summer supplies are exhausted.

Adding a few ounces of fuel conditioner and replacing the fuel filter greatly effect a diesel engine cold start. If you can’t get fuel to the engine, the engine will not start.

(2019 83HD+ shown)

8 )  Clean battery terminals: Shut off main battery disconnect switch, disconnect ground (-) cables first, then wire brush ALL terminals. Every connection should be “bright and shiny”. Use dielectric grease on all terminals, then securely re-attach cables.

On older machines, disconnect ground strap on frame, then use a grinder to clean ground strap contact area. You want to make sure it is free of paint, corrosion or rust. Wire brush strap end and bolt. Apply dielectric grease and tighten. Cover connection with dielectric grease.

9 )  Allow Kubota diesel engine to run for a few minutes prior to placing maximum load on engine. This allows engine oil to warm up and also hydraulic fluid to circulate and warm up.

10 )  Always clean snow and ice from machine prior to operating lift.

Following the steps above will save you a lot of time and greatly minimize problems.
